“A refusal to correct is a refusal to love; love your children by disciplining them.”
Proverbs 13:24 MSG

Most of the time we see this scripture for what it is, an encouragement to show love by giving correction and discipline, specifically to our children. This morning as I thought about this another focus occurred to me:
A refusal to correct [myself] is a refusal to love...
Let it sink in a moment. There are times we deliver correction, of course, but more often, we know the corrections we need to make ourselves and choose whether or not to make them.
We can read this to say that when we choose not to correct ourselves, we choose not to love. Making the corrections we need to make personally is one way we show love toward ourselves and others.
Today, choose to be your best version of you! Choose to make needed corrections. Choose to adjust your course where needed. Make the little corrections you can make just for today.
Grow. Love. Be. Become you!
Blessings today and always! –M
